I draft and manage correspondence, support stakeholder communication, help structure internal messaging, and ensure clarity in external interactions. I am Leanne, founder of Leaway.
My career started in business administration at 17, before naturally progressing into PA, Executive Assistant and operations roles. Over time, I realised what I enjoy most is working closely with businesses, helping bring organisation, structure and calm to busy teams.
Launching Leaway allowed me to take that experience and work more closely with business owners, becoming a trusted support behind the scenes as their businesses grow.
As Leaway has grown, so has the support I provide. I now work alongside Lauren, who supports me behind the scenes and helps ensure clients continue to receive the same calm, reliable and flexible support Leaway is known for.
I remain your main point of contact, but having additional support allows me to be more responsive, increase capacity when needed, and continue delivering a personal, hands on service as my clients grow.
One of the unexpected highlights of running Leaway has been meeting other business owners through local networking. Many of those connections have grown into valued clients, collaborators, and long term relationships.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, getting outdoors for a good hike, and whenever I can, enjoying live music.

What services do you offer?
Leaway provides flexible business support designed around what your business needs most. This can include diary and inbox management, customer communication, document preparation, operational support and ad hoc project support.
Rather than working from a fixed list of services, I work alongside you to support where it has the biggest impact, whether that is day to day support, periods of growth, or extra help during busy times.
Are your services remote, or do you provide in person support?
Support can be delivered remotely, in person, or a blend of both. I work closely with many Kent based clients on site, operating as an extension of their team and adapting support to fit how the business runs day to day.

I’m not sure what to delegate or how to get started – can you help?
We start with a conversation to understand your workload, priorities, and pressure points. From there, I help identify what can be delegated and agree a clear starting point. Support then evolves naturally as your needs change.
Getting started is simple, with access to your systems allowing me to work seamlessly alongside you.

With over 20 years’ experience, I have supported clients across a range of industries including construction and building trades, financial services and insurance, creative businesses and health and safety.

Confidentiality and trust are fundamental to my work. I handle all information securely and discreetly, following strict privacy practices at all times. I am ICO registered and hold professional indemnity insurance for added peace of mind.

What are your rates?
Rates depend on the type and level of support required. I offer ad hoc hourly support as well as flexible monthly retainer options. Following an initial conversation, I will recommend the most suitable approach based on your needs.
How do you manage urgent or time sensitive tasks?
Clear communication is key. I prioritise urgent tasks and manage workloads carefully to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality. To support this, clients simply flag time sensitive requests so priorities can be aligned.
